Reality is no longer singular or fixed but fluid, shifting between competing perspectives that destabilize coherence. The sky, often symbolic of freedom, becomes a suffocating mirror of urbanization’s relentless reach, blurring the boundaries between above and below, progress and collapse. The title directly references Zygmunt Bauman’s seminal work, where he describes modernity as a liquid state, lacking fixed anchors and leaving individuals adrift in a world of perpetual uncertainty. Embodying the disorientation of modern existence, Liquid Modernity captures a world unmoored from certainty and overwhelmed by multiple perspectives and the contradictions of its own making. An allegory of a society stuck in between.
