'Deluge' was shot in Hong Kong one early morning. I say early morning because actually, I had stayed up the entire night before taking images until daybreak, but this shot was taken before the sun had a chance to rise. But this image is special to me because although there is usually a person in my photography, it is usually a silhouette or figure in the distance. Very rarely do I get close enough to a person or have them as the focus of my photography, that is what sets this picture differently from my other photographs. The cab is the cherry on top for me, when I think of Hong Kong, neon lights, good food, and the retro cabbies are what I think of, and now I can share that scene as a photograph with others.
