i've been having nightmares lately. ones where i have to fend off zombies or where i'm being chased and have to hide. i typically have never been one to have nightmares... during my waking hours i am not overtly stressed out so i think it's just lingering under the surface and waiting for me to fall asleep before emerging. i've always been good at compartmentalizing.
it's bizarre how normal everyday life can be happening parallel to the unimaginable happening to someone else or someplace else. i just feel it creeping closer.
