In 2018, #GlitchGoddess of Art Basel Miami with Picasso and Wood #Arthack went viral on the internet with millions of views while set to a dialog of women discussing inequality in the art world. Profiled in dozens of international art publications as the first feminist art piece with major viral metrics, #GlitchGoddess acts an intervention by glitching the art historical depictions of women in a singular form, using digital plasticity to fluidly switch from slender, heavy, pregnant, glitched, fashion-informed, and stylized, to abstract.
This #GlitchGoddess in Pink was created specifically for the Dreamverse NFT Art exhibition from the Metapurse Fund and Time magazine in NYC (November 2021). Employing many of the iconic transformations of the #GlitchGoddess in a new, unique, 1/1 animation set to a new musical score, #GlitchGoddess in Pink continues to investigate the figurative and critically acclaimed runway flex and swagger of the original as part of extending this important contemporary dialog and discourse.
