What I've Been Through

Photographed in New York City in Fall of 2019, “What I’ve Been Through” represents the mystery of what each person has gone through to become who they are today.

While with some people, you wouldn’t guess there would be much to be said about the things that have happened in their lives but every now and then you come across someone you can tell has stories just waiting to be told. That is how I felt as I came across this man soaking in the time he’s allowed himself with his cigarette outside of this neon lit boxing gym. One can only guess the things he’s been through and all of the tales he can tell.
