In traditional filmmaking, finding a way to synchronize visual and audio elements was crucial. A clapperboard consists of a blackboard or acrylic sheet with a series of clapper sticks on top; one stick is fixed to the top edge of the board, while the other is attached to the board with a hinge at one end. The board displays information such as the name of the production, the scene, and the “take” to be shot. Classic clapperboards are in black and white tones.
