It was still dawn when I walked through the old corridors of this country castle in Italy. Silence reigned. Only the birds in the old park surrounding the building chirped happily their melodies, while the first rays of light penetrated the light morning fog and kissed the windows.
The sun flooded the old living room with light and illuminated the old armchairs. I can literally taste the dust of time on my tongue as I gingerly place my camera. I lose myself in the charm of the past, in the fantasy about the life of the former inhabitants.
The crowing of a rooster, brings me abruptly from my little daydream. I smile, because it was again one of those moments where time stood still for a few seconds and I could dream the world as I want.
