Luminoflora Scintillans, named from Latin for 'light' and 'sparkling,' is a rare bioluminescent flowering plant of the Abyssal Petalon cluster. It features multilayered, translucent, undulate petals spiraling around a central corolla, with a gradient from pale milky-white to coral-red speckles linked to its luminescence. The slender, flexible stem aids pollen dispersal via gentle canopy swaying. Emitting blue-green light (450-495nm) through petal photocytes, red pigmentation supports biochemical light emission. Native to tropical shaded, humid rainforests at 15-25°C, it belongs to genus Luminoflora, family Abyssalitaceae (30 species). Nocturnally pollinated by moths, its glow and fragrance signal floral rewards, illustrating an evolutionary adaptation to its biodiverse habitat.
