Phospheris Lumilux, named from Latin 'phos' (light) and 'lux' (glow), is a bioluminescent plant with delicate flowers featuring a central disk and numerous elongated filamentous petals radiating spherically. These filaments have luminescent tips emitting blue to green light (470-530 nm) with subtle warm tones. The slender, slightly twisted stem supports translucent, wavy leaves with fine venation resembling aquatic patterns. Adapted to tropical rainforest canopy niches at 5-15°C, it attracts nocturnal pollinators like moths and bats using luciferin-luciferase bioluminescence at filament tips. Belonging to the Nocturnalis Flora cluster, it weighs 0-15g, measures 10-25cm, and holds a vulnerable status reflecting its fragile ecological role in nocturnal pollination networks.
