Phosphora Floraglow, from Latin 'phosphorus' (light-bearing) and 'flora' (plant life), is a bioluminescent species in the Prismatica Lumina cluster. It grows 30-50 cm tall, with a vertical inflorescence of broad, ruffled petals colored pastel green to soft lavender, featuring translucent, speckled petals with undulating margins. The sturdy yet lightweight stem enables bioluminescent swaying that enhances its vivid aqua-green glow (470-530 nm), produced via luciferin-luciferase pathways typical of its genus Prismataceae. Native to tropical rainforest canopies (20-30°C), it thrives in shaded, humid microhabitats, weighing 15-50 g. Its nocturnal luminescence attracts specialized pollinators such as moths and bioluminescent beetles, supporting biodiversity by facilitating effective cross-pollination.
