Luminflora Auroralis, named from Latin 'lumen' (light) and 'auroralis' (dawn), is a bioluminescent plant emitting soft, ethereal blue-green light (450-495nm) via luciferin-luciferase in petal tissues. It features delicate, ruffled, tubular to funnel-shaped corollas with deep blue and incandescent orange hues and translucent undulating margins that diffuse light. Slender stems bear alternating leaves with intricate veination adapted for light capture in shaded tropical rainforest understories. Growing 0-15 cm tall and weighing 0-15 g, it thrives at 20-30°C. Classified within Noctiflorae Phantasm (40 species), it relies on nocturnal moth and bat pollinators attracted to its luminescence and gentle swaying. Ecologically important, it enhances nighttime biodiversity in vulnerable tropical habitats.
