Bioluminisca Radiantis, named for its radiant bioluminescence, is a rare 15-30 cm tall, 15-50 g bioluminescent flora from the Luminous Glacies cluster. It features translucent, ruffled petals with a pink-to-violet gradient and rust-red speckles, irregular undulated margins, and prominent venation. Golden-orange luminescent droplets along veins emit blue-green light (470-530 nm), likely from luciferin-luciferase reactions in epidermal cells. Its slender, flexible stem sways in tropical rainforests (20-30°C). This species enhances nocturnal pollination by attracting insectivorous pollinators with its light. Belonging to a genus with 10 known luminous species, its bioluminescence acts as an ecological beacon facilitating reproductive success in low-light canopy environments.
