Spectralis Luminflora, from Latin 'spectralis' (ghostly) and 'luminflora' (luminous flowers), is a bioluminescent species in the Aqua Luminaceae family. It features multi-layered ruffled, semi-translucent petals with a gradient from pale coral pink to deep crimson and subtle Aqua blue highlights, dotted with dew-like droplets. The central reproductive organs are complex, with curved stamens and pistils in a dense core. Its short herbaceous stem supports the cluster, swaying with air currents. Bioluminescence emits a blue-green glow (420-490nm) via luciferin-luciferase enzymes in epidermal cells, attracting nocturnal pollinators. Native to tropical cloud forests, it thrives at 5-20°C in moist mid-elevation misty habitats, supporting moth and bat mutualisms. As one of 10 vulnerable species in its genus, it reaches 10-25cm height and 15-50g weight, adapted morphologically and biochemically for dim understory reproduction.
