Luminifloris Aurelia, from Latin 'golden light flower,' is a rare bioluminescent species in the Galacticae Petalia cluster, 10-25cm tall. It features delicate, ruffled golden-orange petals with iridescent blue-green margins and glandular trichomes. Slender, sturdy stems support dense flower clusters and broad, undulating leaves. Bioluminescence (470-530nm) localizes to petal edges and reproductive organs via a luciferin-luciferase system, producing cyan-green light that regulates nocturnal floral movements. Native to shaded, humid tropical rainforest understories (15-25°C), it thrives in nutrient-rich soil. Pollination is entomophilous, attracting moths and beetles, reinforcing mutualism. Belonging to Galactaceae, genus Luminifloris (10 species), L. Aurelia exemplifies adaptive morphology and light emission for reproductive success in dim habitats.
