Luminoflora Spectrablossom, named from Latin lumen (light) and flora (flower), with spectra referencing its unique bioluminescent spectrum, is a specialized herbaceous plant in tropical rainforest canopies. Standing 30-50 cm tall and weighing up to 15g, it has intricate flowers with elongated, undulating petals displaying radiant orange and glowing violet-blue hues. Petal surfaces, translucent and textured, contain luminescent glandular cells emitting blue-green light (450-495 nm) via luciferin-luciferase enzymes. Slender stems support the flower, while narrow, smooth-margined leaves streamline the plant. Thriving at 15-25°C, it attracts nocturnal pollinators like moths and bats, playing a key role in nighttime pollination. Part of the Phantasmal Florale cluster of 20 bioluminescent species, it uses visual signals and subtle floral movements to optimize pollination in dim canopy environments.
