Luminochrysalis Radianta, named for its radiant bioluminescent floral display, is a rare tropical rainforest canopy plant of the Nebulosa Botanica family, 15–30 cm tall and up to 15 g. It features a complex tubular corolla with spirally arranged velvety petals, neon purple to pink transitioning to blue at the base, on a slender, semi-translucent stem. Its blue bioluminescence (450-495 nm) arises from photoproteins along petal veins and stem, serving nocturnal signaling. Thriving at 15–30°C, it attracts night-flying insects, especially moths, for pollination, crucial to canopy biodiversity and nocturnal pollination networks.
