Thriving in cool (0-15°C), moist, gently breezy cloud-covered habitats, it gently sways to aid spore dispersal. A member of the Nocturnalis Flora cluster, it relies on nocturnal moths and crepuscular insects for pollination, contributing to pollinator networks and the cloud forest’s mystical night ambience.
