Floraglow Radianta, named from Latin 'flora' (flower) and 'radianta' (radiant light), is a bioluminescent species in the Noctifloral Anthophytes cluster. It grows 5-30 cm tall with radially symmetrical petals in deep blue and orange-red hues, bearing bioluminescent glands along margins and midribs. Leaves form a matte basal rosette with wavy margins; slender stems carry clusters of blooms. Its bioluminescence emits 420-490 nm blue light via luciferin-luciferase reactions in specialized glandular cells, visible as fine iridescent dots. Native to tropical rainforest canopies at 15-25°C with high humidity and filtered light, it belongs to a genus of 10 endangered species. Nocturnal blooming attracts moths and bats, enhancing pollination in low-light canopy ecosystems.
