Luminiflora Aurantiacus, named for its light-emitting and orange traits, is a bioluminescent flowering plant with translucent, undulating pastel orange petals featuring lavender veins and orange glandular dots likely responsible for bioluminescence. Its multi-layered flowers have curled anthers atop central stamens, adapted for specialized pollination. Bioluminescence emits a faint blue-green glow (470-530 nm) via luciferin-luciferase reactions in petal dots. Native to tropical rainforest understory, it thrives in shaded, humid conditions (15-30°C), grows 30-60 cm tall, and belongs to the Abyssal Petalon genus of ten luminescent species. Nocturnal pollination by crepuscular insects supports biodiversity. Currently vulnerable, conservation is vital.
