New Amsterdam

From 10,000 New York loses its individual elements, and the geography of the area starts to reveal itself. This area of lower Manhattan and the ever-growing Brooklyn waterfront are connected by three bridges. The Brooklyn Bridge, The Manhattan Bridge, and The Williamsburg Bridge. We call them BMW. From on high these bridges look as if they are the only things that that are keeping the two islands from drifting further and further apart, and I absolutely love the tension!
