We continually refresh the core of our being - as old parts of us die they become pieces of our fragmented past, and unknowingly, these shards of existence become reflections of the emotional states we hold on to physically. These fragments subconsciously influence our thought patterns, and become our energetic footprint; as we continue to live, they accumulate and weave into our larger sense of identity. // A mental breakdown followed by the loss of a brother led to an awakening of the most unexpected kind. The type of self-realization that tears open one's veil and places life, death, and all forms of identity/existence under reevaluation. I had no way of knowing how these events would affect me, and continue to watch the emotions unravel via the pixels on my screen. Grieving might ease the pain, but this is now my New Forever.
