“Everyday I discover more and more beautiful things. It’s enough to drive one mad. I have such a desire to do everything, my head is bursting with it.”
– Claude Monet.
Eversince I was a kid I lived daydreaming, I'd get lost in all the small details in life that marveled me, from the soothing fall of leafs in a windy day, to the hipnotizing ripples created on the surface of a lake. Life can be as beautiful as we want it to be, it all depends on how we look at it.
Inspired by Claude Monet’s impressionism, "Un Doux Rêve d'été" (A Sweet Summer Dream) uses the properties of film photography like organic colours and texture full of grain to recreate the soothing impressionist brushstrokes that melt the paint into a dreamlike state.
