Muse Blossoms is the piece that set me on the path to discovering Piano Blossoms. It’s a work that I had been slowly piecing together over many months, searching for a path. One day, everything just clicked—the layers, the palette, the harmony between the blues and greens, the flowers, and the reds, it just worked. In that moment, I knew there would be a collection of new works called “Piano Blossoms” . Thankfully, I had already been working in this direction on many other works in this theme, curating, unaware of the exact purpose until that moment.
For me, this work captures what it means to be in the presence of the Muse, my interpretation of Her energy. This is Her, seated at my Steinway, and as She plays, Her energy radiates outward, a gift for those who dare to listen.
When these works finally took their physical form, I knew instantly this was their truest form. The texture, depth, and colors are all heightened through the UV raised pigment printing, enhancing everything I intended. It completes the vision in a way that digital alone could not. The 31 layers it took to print each piece closely mirrors the layers I painstakingly built into the creation process, if not more. This kind of 'deep layer' work feels like it was destined for this method—it's a perfect fit for the UV printing technology.
Seeing these works in person is an experience all its own, and I say that as humbly as I can. It’s not about me—it’s about the art, and the way it reaches its full potential when brought into the physical world. It’s something I think others will feel when they see them in person as well, if they are willing to be available to the adventure.
