Condor Spirifex Wasp Queen

Planet Condor is a rogue planet in a fairly small solar system with four other planets about 6 light-years from Earth, orbiting Tau Ceti in the constellation Cetus that is spectrally similar to the Sun. Condor is about 1.8 times bigger than Earth and its gravity is about 0.87 times that of Earth.

This planet is home to a large variety of animals, mostly related to reptiles, birds, and diverse insect species inhabiting every corner of the planet.

Condor Spirifex Wasp is colloquially referred to as the "Mind Control Wasps" as the queen wasp lays her eggs on the abdomen of various spiders. When the larvae emerge, they attach to the spider and feed on its hemolymph. As the larva grows, it takes control of the spider brain, directing it to leave its colony and spin a cocoon. The larva then consumes its hostage before tucking itself into its cocoon and emerging as an adult wasp.

Thise rare specimen encapsulated in amber is the only one of its kind ever sent to Earth.
