The 'light at the end of the tunnel' is a cute of way of saying you've found hope in something. I think hope is one of the most important things to have, in any situation, for any reason. Without hope, what do we have? Mindlessly going through the motions or appeasing someone else? Nah. I'm not interested in that. It's so important to stay focused on what's coming, remembering that "why" but also enjoying the process of getting there. It's all a balance, but without hope it's pointless.
