Feelings are not facts. Your perspective is only that -- perspective. Realizing that it's okay to lack the entire truth, and lack someone else's entire truth, changed my entire life. I don't need to be the hero in everyone's story. Some people are so made up with their minds they will never hear you out. That has to be okay -- some people can't be reasoned with. Filling in gaps to create my own narrative is toxic, useless, and overall false. Having the mindfulness to recognize when my brain is jumping to conclusions or creating a narrative is a major tool.
