It's always bittersweet to reminisce about things that are no longer there, especially when they hold such fond memories. The nostalgia of a cozy café with its friendly staff, steaming cups of coffee, and irresistible pancakes is certainly a powerful one. My father would always take me to the café with him before he went to work where I was treated to hot chocolate with extra whipped cream every time. I would listen to the adults as they argued about politics and the increasing price of everything and of course, they knew how to fix all of it. There is something special about the atmosphere and the sense of community that cafes can create. Even though some of the cafes I used to visit may no longer exist, the memories and the feelings associated with them have stayed with me for a long time. "We sit around not forgetting" is an AI memory inspired by those times.
