Founded by Kelani Nichole in 2013, TRANSFER’s mission is to support artists examining the social, cultural and political implications of emerging technology.

Established in 2023, the TRANSFER Data Trust is a peer-to-peer archive backed by an artist-owned cooperative trust. We’re prototyping resilient cultural infrastructure that advances data sovereignty, digital equity and long-term care of media art.
