Biography

Tabor Robak is an American digital artist, renowned in the field of new media, currently based in Paris. He began his digital art career at age 13 as a Photoshop editor and later obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Pacific Northwest College of Art. Robak's career progressed in New York City, where he participated in group shows at MoMA PS1 and the Lyon Biennale, leading to his first solo exhibition in 2013. His work has been exhibited in 23 countries globally.

Robak's art, characterized by multi-channel video installations and generative artworks, is part of collections in major museums worldwide, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; Museum of Modern Art, New York; Whitney Museum of American Art, New York; National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne; Serpentine Galleries, London; Yuz Foundation, Jakarta; and Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, Turin. He was listed in Forbes' 30 Under 30, reflecting his influence in art and beyond. Robak's collaborations span various industries, working with Maison Margiela, Balenciaga, and Microsoft. His influence extends into film, fashion, and design.

In academia, Robak has instructed at New York University, co-teaching a course on video game engines in artwork. He has also delivered guest lectures at institutions like Yale and Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences.
