Rafaël Rozendaalb. 1980

Rafaël Rozendaal is a New York-based visual artist who uses the internet as his canvas, creating digital artworks that merge online and physical spaces.

His work has been exhibited internationally, including at Times Square, Museum Folkwang, Centre Pompidou, Whitney Museum, Valencia Biennial, Casa Franca Brasil in Rio, Seoul Art Square, and Stedelijk Museum. Rozendaal’s art has been featured in publications such as Time Magazine, Wall Street Journal, Flash Art, Dazed & Confused, Interview, Wired, Purple, McSweeney’s, O Globo, Vice, Creators Project, Artreview, and Vogue. He has presented lectures at Yale, the DLD conference, Ecole des Beaux Arts, NYU, and Vivid Sydney.

Rozendaal’s works are held in the collections of the Whitney Museum, Centre Pompidou, and Stedelijk Museum. He is represented by Upstream Gallery in Amsterdam and TSCA Gallery in Tokyo.
