Nico Epstein
About
Nico Epstein is a curator, art historian and art advisor with a deep interest in digital art. He has helped to build two art tech businesses (Artvisor and Artuner) and has arranged more than 20 exhibitions of contemporary art throughout Europe, New York and Hong Kong, focussing mostly on artists of his generation.
He is a frequent lecturer on contemporary art at Christie’s Education in London where he designed the course The Art Market Online: An Essential Guide. He has taught classes on contemporary art and its markets for Bocconi, The Courtauld, and University College London among other leading universities. Epstein also acts as a consultant for Frieze, organising bespoke tours for their VIP clients. His most recent book, An analysis of Susan Sontag’s On Photography, was published on Routledge in 2018.
