Matt Perkins

Matt Perkins is a generative artist and designer living in Charlotte, North Carolina. He has a long history of creating digital art, starting in the 1990s and leading to a career as a multimedia developer.

Matt started pursuing generative art in January '21 and has released several long-form pieces on fx(hash) and short-form on Versum. He has been featured on podcasts, magazines, and physical galleries. His work explores the styles of traditional painting and impressionism as seen through the lens of generative art, taking inspiration from the natural world to blend his experience in fine art with the new medium of code.
