The miraculous material properties of plastics make them indispensable. Strong, light, durable, inexpensive. Made robust and made to last, they outlast; destructuring perilously slowly into ever smaller pieces. On behalf of the consumer, our aquatic ecosystems suffer the true long-term cost. This system uses a real-time, 2D, rigid body physics engine for composition. Tens of thousands of individual shapes interact, emerging as an unexpected whole.
