Founded in 2015 by curator David Gryn, Daata is the only digital art incubator dedicated to commissioning, curating, and selling all mediums of digital art including video, digital animation, augmented reality, and NFTs. Daata collaborates with emerging and leading contemporary artists from across the globe to bring their most ambitious ideas to life. Daata supports these artworks via exhibitions, sales, collector relations, marketing, and international partnerships to bring digital art into the mainstream.

Dedicated to bridging the gap between the traditional art market and the metaverse, Daata supports both physical installations and exhibitions in the online “Daataverse” where collectors and digital art enthusiasts can purchase works as well as engage deeply with the artworks and the digital art community.

To date, Daata has commissioned more than 400 artworks by more than 100 artists and Daata has collaborated internationally with galleries, museums, collections, art fairs, festivals and other organizations including: NASA, Hammer Museum, Kiasma, Julia Stoschek Collection, The Bass, MOCAD, Art Basel, Frieze, EXPO CHICAGO, Phillips, Independent Art Fair, NADA, Art Fair Philippines, PHOTOFAIRS Shanghai, Hauser & Wirth, kurimanzutto, Marian Goodman, Simon Lee, Stephen Friedman, VSF and Thaddaeus Ropac.
